Kim Jong Un shown new Russian long-range cruise missiles

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, together with Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, visited the Knevichi airfield in Vladivostok, where he familiarized himself with modern aviation equipment of the Russian Aerospace Forces.

The leader of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea was shown the Tu-160, Tu-95MS, Tu-22M3 bombers, Su-25SM3 attack aircraft, Su-34 front-line bombers, Su-30SM and Su-35S fighters, as well as the Tu-214 airliner.

During the demonstration of the Tu-160 strategic missile carrier to Kim Jong Un, Lieutenant General Sergei Kobylash, the commander of long-range aviation, said that a strategic cruise missile with a flight range of more than 6,500 km had been put into service on these aircraft.

“Two cassettes of six missiles. It carries the H-BD missile with a range of more than 6,500 kilometers,” he said.

In addition, the North Korean leader inspected the MiG-31I missile carrier with the hypersonic aeroballistic complex Kinzhal (Dagger). Sergei Kobylash briefed Kim Jong Un on the flight and technical capabilities of the Kinzhal missile complex.
