The complex of on-board digital communication facilities created by Roselektronika Holding has been implemented on the Su-57 multifunctional fighter, its use will improve the quality of information transfer, the holding’s press service reported.
The novelty was developed by specialists of the Poliot Research and Production Enterprise in Nizhny Novgorod. The complex operates in the ranges of high and very high frequencies and has enhanced interference and reconnaissance protection.
“The equipment ensures the reliability of information transmission due to noise-resistant coding, interleaving of symbols in the message, unified time synchronization in signal processing, the possibility of simultaneous transmission of messages through parallel channels, increasing the range of stable communication,” said the representative of the holding.
The complex also includes noise-resistant coding and decoding devices, GLONASS navigation satellite signal receiver and digital signal processing and synchronization bus.
The digital communication complex in the future can be used on any aircraft, including previous generations, the press service explained.
