Superjet 100 of the 2022 model year joined Lukoil-Avia’s fleet

Lukoil-Avia has added a new SSJ100-95LR aircraft with registration number RA-89215 to its fleet. The aircraft was manufactured in 2022 – it is the last SSJ100 in imported guise, assembled at the Yuri Gagarin plant in Komsomolsk-on-Amur, its first flight in Komsomolsk-on-Amur took place on November 18, 2022. This is reported by the magazine “Vzlet”.

The airplane was retrofitted into the corporate version according to Lukoil-Avia’s specifications. The aircraft was handed over to the customer at the end of September, and on October 11 performed the first flight as part of the carrier on the route Moscow (Sheremetyevo) – Strigino (Nizhny Novgorod) – Moscow.

According to Rosaviatsia, Lukoil-Avia currently has one Bombardier Global Express business jet (BD-700-1A10), two Beechcraft King Air B300 turboprops and six Mi-8MTV-1 helicopters in its fleet. “Superjet 100” is a new type for the airline, its presence in the carrier’s lineup is not yet reflected on the corporate website or on the website of Rosaviatsia.

Of the ten SSJ100s manufactured at KnAAZ in 2022 with foreign onboard systems, six were delivered to Rossiya, Azimut and Red Wings airlines. Another aircraft was delivered to Azimut in November 2023. Two airplanes from this ten – 95228 and 95229 – have not yet been delivered to customers. One of them is in the process of being converted into a business jet, and the fate of the second is not yet known, writes Vzlet magazine.
