About 100 thousand drones were produced in Russia in September 2023, said Dmitry Peskov, the Russian president’s special representative for digital and technological development.
“We had sub 100,000 drones produced in our country in September this year. We are moving very fast. Many manufacturers, who are now making large interesting vehicles by the thousands, will have scaling tasks to be expanded later,” he said during the international forum “Advanced Digital and Production Technologies”.
He noted that it has already been possible to achieve some parameters that are in the strategy for the development of unmanned aviation until 2030.
At the end of June, the Russian government approved a strategy for the development of unmanned aviation until 2030 and in the future until 2035. The estimated demand for unmanned aerial vehicles until 2030 is almost RUB one trillion.
