Alexander Dolotovsky, who previously held the position of Deputy Director General for Development at Regional Aircraft, has been appointed Deputy Director General of Yakovlev PJSC and Director of the MC-21 programme. At the same time, Alexander Dolotovsky will also continue to work as UAC’s Deputy General Designer for Civil Aviation. This was announced by Andrey Boginsky, CEO of Yakovlev, at a meeting with the heads of Yakovlev’s design bureaus.
“I count on you, Alexander Viktorovich, to bring to the MC-21 programme the standards and management culture that have been formed over the years of development and production of the SSJ100 aircraft. I expect you to make balanced decisions aimed at achieving results,” Yakovlev CEO Andrey Boginsky was quoted.
The Yakovlev CEO also instructed Alexander Dolotovsky to formulate proposals on the staffing of the MC-21 Programme Coordination Department and updating the composition of the project management team within two weeks based on the status of MC-21 prototypes.
Andrey Boginsky added that the MC-21 programme has opened a project for a ‘shortened’ modification – MC-21-210. The project will get a separate head within the directorate, candidates for this position are being considered.
