The next sets of pylons for MC-21 aircraft and nacelles for PD-14 engines produced at VASO have been sent to Irkutsk aircraft plant, UAC reported.
VASO continues rhythmical work on the MS-21 programme in cooperation with PJSC Yakovlev. This year Voronezh aircraft manufacturers plan to supply 11 sets of units for these aircraft.
The list of supplied units includes hatches from polymer composite materials, flap rail fairings, pylons, main and front landing gear flaps, as well as ‘wing-fuselage’ fairing. Composite parts of the nose and tail parts of the vertical and horizontal plumage, pipework and fuel system components are also provided.
As part of the PD-14 programme, VASO’s specialised nacelle production centre is producing air intakes and cowl flaps.
Earlier it was reported that nine MC-21 airframes are in various degrees of readiness in the assembly and test shop of IAZ. Parts have been produced for the 16th, 17th and 18th machines, and the assembly shop is in the process of producing the next four.
