Components for MC-21 will produce in the industrial park Rudnevo

An agreement to develop the aviation industry in the territory of the special economic zone Technopolis Moscow was signed at the international industrial exhibition Innoprom in Yekaterinburg, TASS reports.

The document was signed by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation – Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov and General Director of the United Aircraft Corporation Yuri Slyusar.

In accordance with the agreement, the Moscow government will provide a site on the territory of the Rudnevo Industrial Park, where the production of components for the MC-21 aircraft will be organised.

According to Gennady Dyogtev, General Director of Technopolis Moscow SEZ, the organisation of favourable conditions for the implementation of business tasks in special economic zones is a key factor attracting investors. Technopolis Moscow offers a comprehensive functional solution that allows realising priority strategies for the development of the capital’s industry and achieving technological sovereignty.

Today, 18 production buildings have been erected in Rudnevo. The Federal Centre for Unmanned Aerial Systems, aircraft construction, radio electronics and other industries have their production facilities in the industrial park.
