Developers of the stand base for the PAK DA became winners of the prize named after B.I. Tikhomirov

On the site of the holding company Technodynamika held the awarding of the winners of the Boris Tikhomirov Prize in the field of industrial construction and design. The prize is awarded for works that make a significant contribution to the development of design and construction of industrial facilities and the introduction of advanced engineering, design, technical and technological solutions. This was reported on 6 December in the press service of Rostec State Corporation.

This year’s laureates included a team of authors from one of Rostec’s enterprises, awarded for the creation of test benches for the “Perspective Aviation Complex of Long-Range Aviation” (PAK DA) programme. The winner in the nomination “For Contribution to the Creation of a Test Base” was a team of authors from one of Rostec’s enterprises consisting of Semyon Startsev, Dmitry Pivovarov, Alexander Malanin and Nikita Sokratov.

Experts singled out their work on the creation of a complex of bench equipment for testing aircraft launchers. Within the framework of the programme “Perspective aviation complex of long-range aviation”, experts have carried out a full cycle of research and development work to create a test base and a set of stands.

Earlier, on 10 August 2023, before the start of the Army-2023 military-technical forum, Vladimir Artyakov, Rostec’s First Deputy Director General, answering the question: whether the PAK DA project is suspended due to sanctions or continues in a gentle mode, replied that “the project work is being carried out in the mode established by the approved plan schedule”.
