At the International Military-Technical Forum ‘Army-2024’ the Moscow Institute of Electromechanics and Automation (MIEA), which is a part of KRET, and Fiolent Plant have reached an agreement on the supply of high-tech products for the domestic aviation industry. Pavel Danilin, Director General of MIEA, and Alexander Batalin, Director General of JSC Fiolent Plant, signed the document, KRET’s press service reported.
According to the agreement, Fiolent Plant will supply MIEA with contactless rotating transformers for use in on-board equipment of advanced aircraft. Pavel Danilin noted that the company is actively looking for high-tech suppliers to provide high-quality avionics for domestic aircraft. The existing developments of MIEA have already been implemented in the on-board avionics equipment of various passenger and transport aircraft.
Alexander Batalin added that co-operation with MIEA will contribute to the development and strengthening of the positions of both companies in the Russian high-tech market. Joint use of knowledge and resources helps to solve complex technical problems, which is a priority for the development of civil aviation in Russia.
Under the programme of import substitution of components for domestic aircraft, MIEA together with PJSC Yakovlev developed algorithms for the integrated control system (ICS) and automatic control system (ACS) of the MC-21 aircraft’s avionics, the hardware part of which was created by KRET and MIEA. In particular, the 73051 aircraft, which has imported onboard radio-electronic equipment, demonstrates a successful combination of foreign technologies with Russian developments, which shows the competitiveness of domestic solutions in the global civil aviation market.
Also, as part of import substitution, the Fiolent plant in Crimea organised the production of transformers for SJ-100 aircraft and aviation electrical machines, including generators, motors and transformers for the MC-21.
