Anton Alikhanov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, has announced that deliveries of the production Il-114-300 regional turboprop aircraft are scheduled to begin in August 2026. The announcement was made during a meeting attended by President Vladimir Putin.

Alikhanov stated, “We are completing the certification process this year. According to our schedule, deliveries of production aircraft to operators will commence in August of next year.”

The Il-114-300 is a regional turboprop airliner with a seating capacity of 68 passengers. Designed for local and regional routes, the aircraft is optimized for operations in remote areas, including those with short and unpaved runways, as well as for service in Arctic conditions.

During a session of the Federation Council on July 2, Alikhanov reported that the first three prototype aircraft are priced at approximately 4 billion rubles (about $45 million USD each at current exchange rates). He noted that subsequent production units will cost 2.6 billion rubles (approximately $29 million USD), aligning with the pricing of comparable models such as the Bombardier and ATR regional turboprops.

A key component of the program is the TV7-117ST-01 turboprop engine. Following the Il-112V accident, the engine underwent significant modifications and has since been certified. This process contributed to delays in the resumption of certification flight tests. Currently, certification testing is underway on two aircraft, with type certification for the Il-114-300 expected by the end of this year.
