‘Now we have to finish the plan by May. We have conducted tests of the main cases of wing loading, everything is in order. Now we are conducting tests on the plumage and on the fuselage,’ Smirnov said.
In early 2023, the fuselage and Wing Console of the SJ-100 prototype aircraft were delivered to Novosibirsk from the plant in Komsomolsk-on-Amur, the vertical and horizontal plumage – from the Novosibirsk Aviation Plant. In SibNIA was created and mounted stand for static tests.
SibNIA plans to complete its part of SJ-100 static tests in the first half of 2025
Earlier it was reported that Novosibirsk is undergoing certification static tests of the fuselage, wing, mechanisation, main and front landing gear attachment units, horizontal plumage and engine pylon. They are planned to be completed in the first half of 2025.
