The second flight of the SJ-100 was performed in Komsomolsk-on-Amur

The second flight of flight 97021 under the programme of factory finalisation tests was longer than the first one, it lasted 75 minutes and took place at altitudes up to 6000 metres.

During the flight the crew performed landing gear retraction, checked the operation of the air conditioning and automatic cabin pressure control systems, as well as the operation of the engine air intake de-icing system and the operation of the fuel system in cross-feeding mode with pumps on and off.

On landing, the automatic braking system with air brake release was tested.

The aircraft was piloted by a crew consisting of: aircraft commander Leonid Chikunov, co-pilot Sergey Zavalkin and flight operator Denis Velizhanin.
