The Russian government will allocate more than 12.5 billion rubles from the federal budget in the next three years for the improvement of the IL-114-300 aircraft. This is stated in the explanatory note to the draft federal budget of the Russian Federation.
The funds are allocated by way of a contribution to the authorised capital of United Aircraft Corporation PJSC, including for subsequent contributions to the authorised capitals of its subsidiaries, to finance the costs of the IL-114 aircraft rework, the document says.
It is planned to allocate 9.4 billion rubles in 2025, more than 706 million rubles in 2026 and almost 2.5 billion rubles in 2027 for further design, certification, launch of serial production and formation of spare parts pool. As a result, UAC will receive 12 billion 563 million rubles over three years.
Certification of the IL-114-300 aircraft will be completed in 2025, and the first deliveries are scheduled for April 2026. So far, the contract has been signed for only three aircraft, but as certification is nearing completion, it is planned to discuss with airlines the possibility of increasing orders.
