Russian IT company Integro Technologies and Uzbekistan Airways have signed an agreement in Moscow to deploy Panorama COS (Crew Optimization System), a solution for managing flight and cabin crew operations.
The system supports crew schedule planning and adjustment while accounting for operational constraints and flight parameters. It uses prescriptive AI methods to generate optimized crew allocation scenarios under multiple simultaneous constraints.
Uzbekistan Airways operates more than 100 routes across Europe, Asia, and North America. In 2025, the airline carried 6.6 million passengers. In November of the same year, the carrier placed an order for 22 widebody Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft. Deliveries of Airbus A321neo aircraft continue. Under current plans, the fleet is expected to at least double by 2030.
Fleet growth and network expansion increase pressure on crew planning systems. In response, the airline is migrating part of its workforce management processes to the Panorama COS digital platform. The system builds crew pairings, taking into account connections and overnight stays at intermediate airports. It also calculates crew demand based on the planned schedule and staff availability. A dedicated module estimates hotel accommodation requirements along the network.
Panorama COS also enables real-time reassignment of crews during flight disruptions and irregular operations. The system accounts for duty time limitations, qualifications, and other operational constraints.
The implementation is phased. In the first phase, the airline will optimize crew pairing generation with cost control and positioning planning. In the second phase, the system will transition to crew rostering, incorporating both fixed and variable employee parameters, assignment history, and individual constraints.
According to the developer, the system processes hundreds of constraints simultaneously when generating schedules and assignments. These include regulatory requirements, operational parameters, and crew utilization limits.
Integro Technologies develops IT solutions for the aviation sector, focusing on digital transformation of planning and resource management processes for airlines and airports.
