The United Engine Corporation (UEC) has started the creation of new facilities at the ODK-Star plant in Perm. The new production facilities are focused on the production and testing of units for PS-90A, PD-8 and PD-14 engines. More than 21.3 thousand square meters are planned to be commissioned by mid-2026.

The start of major construction in Perm includes the erection of a modern two-storey building with an area of 17,000 square meters. This facility will house the complete production cycle of electronic units, including production and acceptance testing. This project is designed to create 500 workplaces and provides for the installation of more than 300 units of innovative equipment.

Sergey Popov, Managing Director of ODK-Star, said that the creation of new buildings and the introduction of modern technologies will optimize production and logistics processes. This will lead to increased production volumes and improved quality of the final products.

A modern technological complex with the area of more than 4,300 square meters is being created in place of the existing testing building. Specialized Russian-made equipment will be installed here, which will allow testing of hydromechanical units of PS-90A, TV7-117ST-01, PD-8 and PD-14 engines, including running-in and adjustment stands.

The development of industrial facilities is carried out within the framework of the Comprehensive Program for the Development of the Aviation Industry of the Russian Federation until 2030. In 2024, design and estimate documentation has been developed, positive conclusions of the state expert review have been obtained and general contractors have been selected, which makes it possible to start implementing the projects.
