The International Aviation and Space Salon (MAKS) is scheduled to take place in 2024 and 2025, according to the press service of the airshow.
“Instead of 2023, the MAKS event is planned for 2024, and it will also be held in 2025. The location of the largest aerospace events in the Eurasian region remains unchanged – the city of Zhukovsky in the Moscow region,” the statement said.
MAKS-2023 was originally planned for July 25-30, 2023. The airshow was first held in 1993.
MAKS airshows serve as a platform for the world premiere of Russian-designed aircraft, helicopters, aviation engines, components and systems, launch vehicles, and various types of spacecraft. The airshow is a showcase of the domestic aerospace industry. The Zhukovsky airfield traditionally hosts large-scale demonstrations of civil aviation products, and helicopter manufacturers, engine manufacturers, and component and system producers will present their latest innovations there.
