From 17 September 2024, the airline will resume flights from Moscow to Denpasar (Bali Island, Indonesia), interrupted in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. This was reported in the press service of the carrier.

At the end of July, Aeroflot requested the necessary slots for flights from Moscow to Denpasar. This was preceded over the last year by joint efforts of the airline, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, the Embassy of Indonesia in the Russian Federation and the Russian-Indonesian Business Council. On 31 July, President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto announced his desire to restore direct flights between the Russian capital and the island of Bali during his visit to Moscow and talks with Vladimir Putin.

The flights from Sheremetyevo Airport will operate twice a week according to the schedule (local time):

▪️ Departure of flight SU296 from Moscow is on Tuesdays and Saturdays at 14:40.
▪️ The return flight SU297 from Denpasar will depart on Wednesdays and Sundays at 10:05.

‘From 3 October, a third weekly flight will be added, departing from Moscow on Thursdays and returning on Fridays. Ticket sales are open,’ the Aeroflot press service said

The flights will be operated on wide-body Airbus A350 airliners with an increased level of comfort by increasing the distance between the seats and the backrest angle in Economy and Comfort classes. A state-of-the-art multimedia system is offered in all classes of service.
‘The spacious cabin, reduced noise levels and adaptive lighting create a pleasant environment on board,’ added the airline’s spokesperson.

The Business Class cabin is equipped with individual 54cm monitors, the seats fold out into a two-metre bed and are located in individual cabins. A bar with a wide selection of drinks and snacks is offered during the flight.
