The State Scientific Centre GosNIIAS is creating a new semi-natural test stand for integration, development and testing of import-substituted complex of onboard equipment for the MC-21-310 aircraft. At present, work is underway to install special equipment of the stand, GosNIIAS reported.
The existence of such stands is due to the need for safe and cost-effective testing and support of on-board systems of prospective and operating aircraft. Previously, such a stand was created to test aircraft systems with imported components.
The new stand, which is being created jointly with Yakovlev, will become the “Electronic Bird” of the MS-21-310 aircraft. At this stage, the assembly of units and aircraft systems is underway, and the cable network is being laid. After these works it will be possible to install on-board equipment.
More than 10 specialists will be able to work on the new stand at a time: 12 individual workstations with access to system control units are provided for this purpose.
