Svyaz Spetszaschita company has presented at the HeliRussia-2023 exhibition of the helicopter industry the Boets (Fighter) drones, which are being tested in the special military operation zone in Ukraine.

According to the company representative Dmitry Zubarev, Fighter 75 can become a replacement for the Chinese UAV Mavic 3, and the drone Fighter 40 is characterized by ease of maintenance, which is very important in difficult field conditions.

“The Fighter 75 folding drone can also carry a camera along with the charge. Fighters can use it as a great replacement for the DJI Mavic 3. The drone folds easily into a small box the size of an A4 sheet which fits easily into a backpack. The drone is currently being actively tested and used in the Special Operations area. We have supplied about 10 of them to the air defense zone,” TASS quoted Zubarev as saying.

He also said that the drone is notable for its easy assembly. “It takes fighters about 5-10 minutes to assemble it for operation,” Zubarev specified.

The Fighter 40 single-use FPV strike drones are being demonstrated for the first time at HeliRussia. “The drone has a payload of up to 2.5 kg and a flight range of about 12 km. The devices are available in analogue and digital versions of 40 each, and they come with one goggle, screen and remote control,” said Dmitry Zubarev about the Fighter 40 drone.

He explained that one of the advantages of the machine is the ease of maintenance. “There are certain complications with maintenance in the special military operation area. In our vehicle, if necessary, you switch [the wires] and without any firmware, the drone flies on. In the field, when everything is done in the dirt, it is much more important that all the equipment is [more] interchangeable than is the case with the Chinese fancy machines,” said Mr. Zubarev.

The specialist also spoke about the reconnaissance modification of the Fighter 7 drone. “But now we mainly need strike drones, Russian-made ones that can carry cargo, fly and work,” he stressed.
