Kalashnikov Concern will debut its integrated complex, comprising the SKAT 350 M reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and the KUB-2E loitering munition, at the 19th Dubai Airshow 2025. The event will take place in Dubai from November 17th to 21st. Both systems are developed by the Concern.

On October 31st, preceding International Military Journalists’ Day, Kalashnikov CEO Alan Lushnikov announced the completion of integration between the KUB family of loitering munitions and the SKAT 350 M reconnaissance UAV. According to Lushnikov, the SKAT 350 M detects and determines target coordinates, transmitting this data to the loitering munition operator. Upon receiving the coordinates, the operator directs the munition to strike the target. Following the strike, the SKAT 350 M conducts post-strike damage assessment. The complex has demonstrated effectiveness in the special military operation zone, with servicemen who employed it in combat conditions providing positive feedback.

The KUB-2E loitering munition, developed at the Concern’s initiative, is designed to engage personnel, UAV launch positions, helicopter basing areas, as well as lightly armored and unarmored military vehicles. The munition is capable of maneuvering and is equipped with electro-optical systems that enable the operator to guide it to a target, even if its location changes. Kalashnikov Concern has obtained the necessary export permits for the KUB-2E to facilitate international sales.

The loitering munition weighs over 10 kg. It can operate in a 24/7 mode under various weather conditions, including smoke and dust, with ground-level wind speeds up to 15 m/s, and in the presence of passive and active electronic countermeasures. Operation is feasible within an ambient temperature range of -40°C to +50°C.

The SKAT 350 M, currently in serial production, is intended for round-the-clock aerial surveillance, target search in optical and infrared spectrums, and precise guidance of munitions, including the KUB loitering munition. The SKAT is equipped with a high-resolution television or infrared HD camera with a night vision module, an advanced target acquisition and tracking module featuring updated algorithms to simplify operator workload, and a reinforced airframe designed for parachute landing.

According to military reports, the Concern highlights the aircraft’s high reliability and survivability. Servicemen consider the SKAT 350 M to be one of the primary aerial reconnaissance assets in the special military operation zone. It is actively employed along the entire ground line of contact, as well as in the Black Sea theater of military operations.
