The K-1000 dome FPV drone suppression station developed by Kaisant Research and Production Association (NPO Kaisant) is a popular tool for ensuring the safety and protection of armoured and motor vehicles from unmanned aerial vehicles due to its autonomy, ease of operation and high efficiency. The company’s development director Alyona Balandina told RIA Novosti about the new product and its capabilities.

“The company has developed a dome-shaped FPV drone suppressor (radiation direction – “umbrella”) K-1000 designed for installation on vehicles: cars, tanks, BMPs. This electromagnetic warfare system is made in the form factor of a suitcase and weighs only two kilograms, so it is very convenient to install and carry,” she said.

The K-1000 station is based on high-power directional jamming, which completely blocks the operation of FPV drones, hover drones and other attack UAVs. One of the features of the system is its complete autonomy. The station can be operated from an internal power source as well as from an external power grid or portable power station. The complex is capable of stopping the flight of one or more UAVs at the launch stage, and K-1000 has the ability to suppress a swarm of drones within its range. The system is controlled by a single operator.

The effectiveness of the suppression is achieved by jamming the relevant UAV control and navigation frequencies. Such an effect causes the drones to stop in place, gradually descend and land, or fall uncontrollably. Some UAV models can be returned to the launch site. The K-1000 EW station affects enemy drones in the 800 and 900 MHz frequency ranges, which are the main frequency bands for FPV drones, with a nominal radiation power supplied to the antennas of 10 to 20 watts. Subsequent modifications will extend the dome station’s frequency range to 2400 and 5800 MHz.

Alyona Balandina noted that K-1000 is in mass production and the first orders for the system have already been received from the Moscow government. Negotiations are underway for mass deliveries of this anti-drone system to the NWO area. The cost of the anti-drone station is 250 thousand roubles or $27 200.
