As it was earlier reported with reference to Dmitry Krutoy, the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus in Russia, the aviation enterprises of the Republic are actively increasing the portfolio of Russian orders, and in the future it is possible to assemble the airplanes in Belarus.

“Not only can we offer our competence and capabilities in this part, we are already actively involved in it all. Kazan, Ulyanovsk, and our next trip will be to Irkutsk on the level of a government delegation. We want to personally communicate and draw up long-term loading programs for our two enterprises, the 407th and 558th plants,” said the Ambassador.

He said that to date the Russian aircraft models for which we are actively working have been identified. This is the MC-21 – about 1,350 items and components are offered by our Russian colleagues for production in Belarus.

As for the IL-76 and IL-78 aircraft of various modifications a portfolio of orders for more than 2,100 items has been formed for Belarusian enterprises. As for the Tu-214, about 700 items have been identified, which the Belarusian side is ready to replace with imports and for which the Russian side has, in fact, already certified and verified the relevant companies, giving their consent to production and further production in Russia.
