A new production complex of the Ural Civil Aviation Plant has been commissioned at the Uktus site in the Titanium Valley Special Economic Zone in the Sverdlovsk Region to produce the Baikal light multipurpose aircraft LMS-901 and the Ladoga turboprop regional aircraft TVRS-44. This is reported on the official website of the regional government.

Production buildings were built at the Uktus site, where modern conditions for the production of high-tech aircraft were created. The construction of the production infrastructure included the erection of an engineering and technical services building with the area of 1400 square metres, a universal production building with the area of 6500 square metres and a hangar with the area of 1900 square metres for service maintenance and ground technological testing of new aircraft.

At present, construction of a multifunctional production building with an area of 10,500 square metres is underway and is scheduled for completion in 2024. An infrastructure loan of one billion roubles has been allocated from the federal budget for the implementation of the second stage of the high-tech aircraft production localisation project.

Earlier, in August, the universal production building was leased to the Ural Civil Aviation Plant. UZGA delivered and installed equipment in it.
