Hangar for ground tests of LMS-901 Baikal and TVRS-44 Ladoga airplanes was put into operation at the site Uktus of Titanium Valley Special Economic Zone in the Sverdlovsk region. This is reported by the regional Department of Information Policy.

“The new production site is being created with the attraction of one billion rubles from the federal budget in the form of an infrastructure loan. Sverdlovsk Region Governor Yevgeny Kuyvashev’s application for preferential financing in May 2022 was approved by the Presidium of the Government Commission on Regional Development headed by Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin,” the report says.

“The area of the hangar is 1,900 square meters. It will be used for service and ground technological testing of new aircraft. At the moment we have completed all the construction works and are preparing documents to lease the facility to our resident,” – told the general director of “Titanium Valley” Andrey Antipov.

In total the complex will include four objects. These are the already built hangars for testing of aviation equipment and the building for engineering services. This year a multi-purpose production building will be built. In 2024 there will be a multifunctional production building with the area of more than 10 thousand square meters.

Earlier it was reported that an infrastructural budget loan of one billion rubles was allocated for the construction of the UZGA (JSC Ural Civil Aviation Plant) production complex where the serial production of Ladoga (TVRS-44) and Baikal (LMS-901) aircraft would be organized.
