Yakovlev’s External Cooperation Steering Committee headed by Andrey Boginsky, UAC Deputy Director General for Civil Aviation, held an off-site meeting in Samara at Aviaagregat enterprise of Technodinamika Holding, where the issues of external cooperation on SJ-100 programme were discussed.

Before the meeting, the heads of key holdings and companies involved in the SJ-100 project got acquainted with the production processes and tests of the aircraft landing gear struts. Then, during the meeting, the participants discussed the issues of completing the prototype and serial SJ-100 with aggregates and aircraft systems. Producers of domestic components presented plans to ensure certification of the aircraft in the Russian guise and the start of its serial production.

Andrey Boginsky drew the attention of the heads of enterprises to the critical importance of organising work on qualification and certification of components. By the end of March, specialists of PJSC Yakovlev plan to conduct additional field audits of the co-operation enterprises. The purpose of the audits is a detailed analysis of the organisation of work processes on interaction with suppliers of the second and third levels.

It is expected that against the backdrop of the measures taken, the co-operators will fulfil their obligations and, in accordance with the approved work schedules, provide the Yakovlev Production Centre in Komsomolsk-on-Amur with components for the assembly of SJ-100 aircraft. Now the finished fuselages of the first ten serial aircraft are awaiting the results of their work there.
