The last aircraft Superjet 100 with French-Russian engines SaM146, produced in 2022, distributed among the exaluatants. United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) CEO Yury Slyusar said during the presentation of the Yakovlev brand in Zhukovsky on 26 July.
“Yes [they are all distributed]. Several aircraft will be delivered in business version to different operators. One Superjet is also expected to enter the Azimut Airlines fleet this year, and one is expected to enter the Red Wings fleet,” Izvestia newspaper quoted him as saying.
Earlier in the day, Yakovlev Corporation (formerly Irkut) CEO Andrei Boginsky announced that the new import-substituted SSJ-New aircraft will be called the SJ-100.
Yakovlev is to hand over the first two SJ-100 aircraft to Aeroflot Group by the end of this year. “We have a contract with the leasing company in accordance with which we are working, nobody has changed the terms – it is the end of 2023. Perhaps the operation of these machines will already start next year, as it will take some time for the airline to organise the process,” explained Andrey Boginsky, commenting on the possible postponement of the start of aircraft deliveries.
