The United Aircraft Corporation will receive 498.96 million rubles as a contribution to the statutory fund to finalise the IL-114-300 aircraft. The order to this effect was signed by the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin on the last day of 2023.

The funds will be allocated to the corporation’s subsidiaries to finance the costs of the aircraft’s rework within the framework of the federal project State Support for Russian Aircraft Building Organisations of the Russian Federation’s state programme Development of the Aviation Industry.

As a result of the budget investment, it is expected that no later than 31 December 2025, certificates of component parts suitability will be obtained based on the results of additional certification work for at least three upgraded systems of the IL-114-300 aircraft.

The IL-114 is a turboprop passenger aircraft designed to carry up to 64 passengers for a distance of up to 2,000 kilometres. It was developed in the 1980s and mass-produced from 1990 to 2012 at the Tashkent Aviation Production Association name Chkalov.
