Aeroflot launches new direct flights to Phuket from Pulkovo and Koltsovo airports

From 29 and 30 October Aeroflot will start operating direct scheduled flights from St. Petersburg and Ekaterinburg to Phuket for the first time. Flights to the famous resort of Thailand will be operated twice a week on wide-body Airbus A330 liners.

Flights from Pulkovo airport to Phuket are scheduled on Thursdays and Sundays, return flights – on Tuesdays and Fridays. Flights to Phuket from Koltsovo will be operated on Mondays and Thursdays. Return flights – on Mondays and Fridays.

Earlier Aeroflot reported that it resumes its own direct flights from St. Petersburg to Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh. Thus, in the season of autumn and winter holidays and holidays, residents of the North-West Federal District will be able to travel to popular beach holiday destinations without transfers in Moscow.

Phuket will become the second destination in Thailand to which the airline will fly from Ekaterinburg. Earlier Aeroflot announced direct flights from Koltsovo to Bangkok, with flights starting on 2 October 2023.

The end of autumn, winter and spring are traditionally considered the high season in Thailand. It is expected that both Thai destinations will be in high demand among residents of the Urals, who will be able to save travel time by travelling without connecting flights to Moscow.
