PMI Aero, a Russia-based distributor, has signed a dealership agreement with Mongolia’s MUNKH AERO, appointing the company as the authorized sales representative for the TVS-2MS multi-purpose aircraft in Mongolia. The agreement covers end-to-end transaction support, including delivery, aftermarket services, and operator consulting, PMI Aero said.
Founded in Ulaanbaatar in 2025, MUNKH AERO focuses on aircraft supply, logistics, and aviation consulting. Its experience with local operators provides operational insight into harsh continental climates and remote route structures. The company will manage the full customer interface in the Mongolian market.
The TVS-2MS is a turboprop (Honeywell TPE331) upgrade of the legacy Antonov An-2 biplane — received type certification from the Mongolian Civil Aviation Authority in 2018. The approval confirms compliance with airworthiness requirements and enables unrestricted registration and operation in the country. The aircraft supports a wide mission set, including medevac and operations to remote areas.
The aircraft is manufactured by Rusaviaprom (Novosibirsk), while PMI Aero leads marketing and deal execution. The partnership with MUNKH AERO is intended to expand export reach and strengthen the aircraft’s position in international markets.
The agreement establishes a structured framework for promoting Russian-built utility aircraft in Mongolia and aligns delivery, operations, and support within a unified service model.
