OSPP Technology named after Romashin and Rybinsk enterprise UEC-Saturn signed an agreement on the supply of components for aircraft engines PD-8 and PD-14, reported in the press service of ONPP Technology.

Till 2030 Technologiya will produce and send to UEC-Saturn more than 30 thousand sound-absorbing and workable panels, 100% made of domestic composite materials. One set for PD-8 engine includes 38 panels, for PD-14 – 25.

In 2024, Technologiya will deliver more than 60 engine assembly kits to its customer, UEC-Saturn. By 2028, the company should reach a capacity of 240 kits per year. The kits include multilayer honeycomb sound-absorbing panels to reduce noise in the aircraft engine and workable ones to ensure its efficient operation.

“The contract signed with Rybinsk-based UEC-Saturn is of great importance for us, as it will allow us to load production for years to come,” said Andrei Silkin, Director General of ONPP Technologiya.
