On the night of July 30, another terrorist attack by Ukrainian drones was carried out on the centre of the Russian capital. Two buildings were damaged in the Moscow City complex, the capital’s mayor Sergei Sobyanin said.
“The facades on two office towers of the City have been slightly damaged. There are no casualties and victims,” said in the telegram channel of the head of the city.
The Russian Defence Ministry said that three drones were involved in the attack, one of them was destroyed in the air over the territory of the Odintsovo district of the Moscow region, two more were suppressed and crashed on the territory of the Moscow City complex. Vnukovo airport was closed for departures and arrivals due to the emergency.
According to the TASS source, the UAV hit occurred at the level of 5-6 floors in the building of the multifunctional complex IQ-quarter on the territory of Moscow City. “As a result of the flak at the level of 5-6 floors of the 50-storey building on Presnenskaya embankment, 10c2, the glazing was broken,” the agency interlocutor said, specifying that there were no casualties and no fire ensued.
The explosion of the second UAV occurred in the tower “Oko-2”, the glazing on several floors was damaged. “As a result of the clap in the Oko-2 tower, a security guard was injured. Glasses from the first to the fourth floors were broken out,” the agency’s source said. He added that all buildings of the Moscow City complex were evacuated.
Earlier in July, the Kiev regime made three attempts to attack the Russian capital with drones equipped with explosives.
On 4 July, four drones were shot down in New Moscow. No one was injured, a farm building caught fire from the wreckage of one of them. On 24 July, BALA hit two non-residential buildings in the capital. As Sobyanin reported, there were no casualties or serious damage. On 28 July, one enemy drone was shot down by air defence forces over Moscow. No one was injured and there was no destruction.
