Aeroflot and low-cost carrier Pobeda will start offering members of the Aeroflot Bonus loyalty programme the opportunity to earn miles for flights on the low-cost carrier’s flights from 21 December 2023. The number of miles accrued depends on the distance between departure and arrival airports, as well as on the airfare, Aeroflot’s press service said.

Mileage accrual for flights on Pobeda flights additionally rewards passengers for choosing airlines of Aeroflot Group. The innovation will allow them to save up for award tickets, upgrade in the class of service and receive other benefits of the Aeroflot Bonus programme. At the same time, as explained in the press service, the privileges of the elite levels of Aeroflot Bonus will not be provided on Pobeda flights.

“In the personal account of the participant of Aeroflot Bonus for the flight Pobeda will simultaneously display accruals from both Aeroflot and the low-coster. Passengers will receive from 50 to 100 per cent of miles for the flight,” explained in the press-service.

It is expected that in 2024 passengers will be able to use Aeroflot Bonus miles for flights on low-cost flights, which will allow loyalty programme members to travel even more advantageously, using the accumulated miles to purchase air tickets. Miles accumulated for flights on Pobeda flights will be taken into account to reach the elite level of the Aeroflot Bonus programme.

“Joining the efforts of Aeroflot and Pobeda gives passengers the opportunity to enjoy a large number of benefits. Mileage accrual for flights on Pobeda flights, the possibility to use miles to purchase Pobeda tickets and miles accounting for reaching the elite level of the Aeroflot Bonus programme make joint flights for our passengers even more profitable and convenient,” Aeroflot commented.
