Aeroflot Group is introducing Aeroflot Shuttle, a new programme for Russian civil aviation, designed for convenient and high-frequency air service between Moscow and St. Petersburg. Regular flights from Sheremetyevo and Vnukovo to Pulkovo and back will be launched from 1 June 2024.

A fundamentally important aspect of this programme is the high frequency of flights: from 6:00 to 1:00 Moscow time flights from Sheremetyevo will depart at 15-minute intervals, and flights from Vnukovo airport and back – at 30-minute intervals. A total of 78 flights will be operated per day. The group has put up 64% more flights on this route than in June-September 2023, at which time there were 48 flights per day in each direction.

According to Aeroflot’s booking system, 69 out of 78 flights to St Petersburg will be operated by Rossiya Airlines using Superjet 100 aircraft. Aeroflot itself is scheduled to have four flights a day, while five daily flights will be operated by low-cost carrier Pobeda.

“The main advantages of the Aeroflot Shuttle programme will undoubtedly be appreciated by business travellers. They will be able to organise their time as efficiently as possible, adapting flights to their professional tasks. And travellers who can arrive at the airport earlier or, on the contrary, a little late, will get the opportunity of flexible planning without unnecessary hassle and financial losses,” commented in the Aeroflot press service.

For the convenience of passengers on the specified direction Aeroflot introduces a new fare group Economy Shuttle. The fares are designed to give passengers maximum flexibility in changing their plans. The Economy Shuttle fare is baggage free and allows passengers to exchange their ticket for any other flight free of charge and depart earlier or later than the time specified in the ticket. The fare conditions allow passengers to exchange their ticket free of charge for any other flight under the code SU between Sheremetyevo/Vnukovo and St. Petersburg within a range of 12 hours before and after the time of the original flight. The same option is available to passengers who have a paid carriage between the two capitals on fare groups Economy Optimum and Maximum, Comfort Optimum and Maximum, as well as all fare groups Business.

The procedure for changing the time of departure is simple and accessible. Passengers can perform this operation either at the check-in desk at the airport or by calling the Aeroflot Contact Centre. Please note that the service is available no earlier than 12 hours and no later than 40 minutes before the departure of the original flight. Check-in for the flight is available no later than 30 minutes prior to departure time.
