Domodedovo and Myanmar Airways signed an agreement of intent on cooperation

Moscow Domodedovo Airport (DME) and Myanmar Airways International have signed an agreement of intent on cooperation. The document was signed on behalf of the companies by Ms. Irina Ryabinina, Managing Director of DOMODEDOVO COMMERSHLE SERVICES, LLC and Mr. Kyau Soe Hla, Chief Operating Officer of Myanmar Airways International.

The agreement is aimed at the successful development of tourist flow between the Russian Federation and the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. With this in mind, Myanmar Airways International aims to stimulate this traffic by offering flight options between the two countries, including a new and unique route for the Moscow hub – to Yangon, while confirming its intention to consider Moscow Domodedovo Airport as its potential partner airport.

Myanmar Airways International was founded in 1993 and will celebrate its 30th anniversary in August 2023. The airline operates a fleet of Airbus A319s, Airbus A320s and Embraer E190s from its hub at Yangon International Airport to 16 international and 18 domestic destinations.
