The procedure of transfer of new Yak-130 aircraft was held at the Irkutsk Aviation Plant. The machines passed all necessary tests and went to the place of permanent deployment. This was reported in the press service of the United Aircraft Corporation.

The Yak-130 was developed at the Yakovlev Design Bureau. The aircraft is equipped with a complex digital electrodirectional control system KSU-130, which allows to change the stability and controllability characteristics, which makes it possible to change the dynamic parameters of Yak-130 and imitate the behaviour of almost any modern combat aircraft. This innovation of the Yak-130 allows to practice 80% of the entire pilot training programme.

During the acceptance/transfer of the aircraft to representatives of the Russian Ministry of Defence, Yuri Slyusar UAC CEO emphasised that the Yak-130s play an essential role in the practical training of the Air Force pilots. The Yak-130 has been selected as the basic aircraft for basic and advanced training, and thanks to its technical capabilities, the Yak-130 makes it possible to train pilots of combat aircraft of the 4+ and 5 generation at the most up-to-date level.

The aircraft is also successfully used for training in conditions as close as possible to the real combat situation, and the on-board system of simulation of combat modes allows training cadets without launching real missiles and dropping bombs. At the initial stage of training, the Yak-130 can be more “loyal” to cadets’ mistakes, which will allow them to get the right skills faster.
