JSC Tupolev fulfilled its obligations under the programme of modernisation and production of Tu-160M strategic missile carriers, and work was also completed on the repair of Tu-22M3 long-range aircraft. NAZ Sokol performed work on modernisation of MiG-31 fighter-interceptors.

“UAC enterprises fulfilled their obligations within the framework of the state defence order under this year’s contracts on time. In a number of positions we have ensured the delivery of military equipment ahead of schedule. We are increasing the pace of production of fifth-generation Su-57 aircraft. We have increased production of military transport aircraft. We continue to fulfil the tasks under strategic aviation programmes,” UAC Director General Yuri Slyusar said.

According to him, production volumes of operational-tactical aircraft have been increased by 30 per cent. Feedback on the results of operation allows to improve aircraft and ensure modernisation at a higher technological level.

In the new year, the task is to ensure rhythmic production and deliveries of new aircraft, which are especially demanded by the Russian Ministry of Defence. It is also planned to further increase production of military transport aircraft, including laying the foundations for the development of advanced super-heavy and light class VTA aircraft.
