According to the Comprehensive Aircraft Industry Development Programme until 2030, the first deliveries of the 44-seat turboprop Ladoga (TVRS-44) aircraft will commence in 2025 with 15 aircraft. The aircraft will receive the TV7-117ST-02 engine developed by ODK-Klimov. It is planned to receive a type certificate for it in 2024. Vsevolod Eliseyev, the general designer of the company, told TASS in an interview about the immediate plans for this engine.

The TV7-117ST-02 engine is being developed under the contract with the Ural Civil Aviation Plant. A whole cooperation of ODK enterprises is involved in its creation: the Salut production complex (Moscow), Perm’s ODK-STAR and St. Petersburg’s ODK-Klimov, which is the finisher and manufacturer of the digital automatic control system in this cooperation.

“This year, at the beginning of the second half of the year, we plan to produce prototypes to start tests and in December 2023 deliver two propulsion systems to mount and prepare the first Ladoga board for the start of flight tests. The second board is planned to be completed in spring 2024. Next, three additional engines have been ordered to ensure certification of the aircraft,” said Vsevolod Alekseev.

According to him, in this way the company plans to supply seven power units under the Ladoga programme for flight tests, carry out a range of certification work on the engine and proceed to the start of mass production.

“From 2025, we will be ready to start production of up to 25 engines of the TV7-117ST-02 modification per year,” the Klimov general designer said.
